Create Your Own Photo Booth with These Supplies

20150110_220406037_iOSKids enjoy having their pictures taken, and parents love to have photos that they can put in albums or hang on walls to remember fun family times and special moments. You can create your own photo booth at home and capture shots that you and your family will treasure for years to come. You only need a handful of simple items.

The first thing you will need is obviously a camera. You don’t need an expensive one. A simple camera, or even a cell phone, can do the job. You can post photos online, print them out to frame or put in albums, or email them to friends and family so they can display them in their own homes.

If you want to frame your photos or put them in albums, you will need a printer. Again, you don’t need to spend a lot of money. You can buy an inexpensive printer to produce color photos at home. Your kids will love to watch as images of them emerge from the printer before their eyes.

Your kids will want to ham it up for the camera. Encourage them to dress up with props. You can gather some old clothes and costumes, mustaches, goofy glasses, clown noses, bow ties, wigs, hats, feathered boas, dog noses, eye patches, and more.

After you have printed your photos, you and your kids can decorate them to create fantastic keepsakes. Use gems, glitz, sparkles, markers, or other materials you can find at your local arts and crafts store.
