The Art Truck is hosting a series of fun and creative events for kids this summer at our party studio in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Our Creativity Camps are a series of sessions where kids can learn to create their own unique works of art. They are designed to give kids the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities while learning about new art materials and processes.
The theme for our second week of Creativity Camps is “Party Like a Fashionista and Wear Your Art.” These sessions will be held from August 4 to 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
On Tuesday, August 4, guest artists can learn the popular art of tie-dyeing. Kids can create their very own fringed and beaded tie-dyed t-shirts and matching scarves and decorate them with beads and bling.
On Wednesday, August 5, kids can participate in a Baubles, Beads & Bling jewelry workshop. Young artists can design their own matching sets of jewelry, including a ring, bracelet, and necklace. Then they can decorate bauble boxes to hold their wearable treasures.
On Thursday, August 6, guest artists can create even more wearable works of art. They can decorate their own stylish hats, festive masks, and art aprons to complete their fashion statements.
Creativity Camps are intended for children between the ages of 6 and 10. The cost is $25 per person per individual session. Enrollment is limited to 16 artists per session. Contact us today to reserve a space for your child at one of The Art Truck’s unique summer Creativity Camps.
